Audit log for AutoGen and AG2 agents

AutoGen popularised multi-agent conversations: agents exchange messages, call models and execute tools, sometimes including generated code. The same design continues in AG2. For an audit this is the hardest shape there is: many actors, long runs and actions that are decided mid-conversation.

What to record

Code execution deserves special attention: it is where an agent acts on the world most directly, and where an inline policy (allowed commands, no network, no writes outside a directory) pays off most.

Capturing it

Either way, turn off sampling for evidence and keep a copy outside the tool your team administers.

Human in the loop

AutoGen's human proxy pattern is a natural fit for Article 14 human oversight. Record the approval request and the human answer as events in the same log, so the oversight is provable and not just designed.
