Who sells
Vetro Attest is operated by Lumnika; your card statement shows LUMNIKA. Checkout and billing run on Stripe, which acts as merchant of record: Stripe sells you the purchase on our behalf, charges VAT or sales tax where due and issues the invoice. Prices are in USD and shown on /pricing/ and at checkout before you pay.
What you buy
Single report (one-off). For one ledger you upload: an EU AI Act transparency report and an ed25519 countersignature by the Vetro Attest server key over the ledger digest. Anyone can check the countersignature against the public key at /api/pubkey. Free verification of a ledger requires no purchase.
Document pack (one-off). A set of EU AI Act documents generated from your answers (for example a fundamental rights impact assessment draft, Annex IV technical documentation draft, AI literacy record and Article 50 notices), with a countersigned digest. They are drafts for you to review and complete, not legal advice. If you add the optional update at checkout, you receive the updated pack by email whenever the templates change during the following 6 months.
Continuous and Agency (subscriptions). An API key that re-attests your ledgers at every release (/api/renew) and an account page with status and past attestations. Agency covers ledgers of several clients under one key, up to the monthly number of distinct client ledgers stated on /pricing/; the quota is per month on annual plans too. Each subscription is billed monthly or yearly, as chosen at checkout.
What the attestation means
The countersignature states that, at the time of signing, the ledger with that exact digest was internally consistent (hash chain and signatures valid) and was seen by this server. It is not legal advice, not a certification by a notified body and not a guarantee that the recorded AI system complies with the EU AI Act or any other law. The report maps what the ledger contains to the Act's obligations; the assessment of your system remains yours.
Free trial
Continuous and Agency start with a 14-day free trial, unless a different trial is shown at checkout. You enter a card at checkout but are not charged during the trial. On the day the trial ends, the card is charged the plan price (monthly or yearly, as chosen) unless you cancelled before then. The trial end date is in the email you receive when the trial starts and on your account page. During the trial /api/renew verifies ledgers and returns the report; countersignatures start with the first paid invoice.
Automatic renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (month or year) and the card on file is charged the then-current plan price until you cancel. We announce any price change by email at least 30 days before it applies to your next renewal; you can cancel before it does. You can switch from monthly to yearly billing from your account. If a renewal payment fails, Stripe retries it and emails you a link to update the card; if it still fails, the subscription ends and is not charged again.
Cancelling
You can cancel at any time, without contacting us, from /account/ or the billing portal link in your emails. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid: you keep access until then and are not charged again. Cancelling during the trial means you pay nothing.
Payment and delivery
Payment is processed by Stripe. Delivery is immediate: after payment you are returned to your report, and the report, attestation or document pack is emailed to the address given at checkout. A subscription's API key is emailed when it starts.
Refunds
If a report, attestation or document pack is not delivered, or an attestation fails verification against our public key, write to attest@lumnika.com within 14 days of purchase and we refund in full. Any other refund request made within 14 days of a one-off purchase, of the first subscription charge, or of a renewal charge is also granted on request. Nothing here limits your statutory right of withdrawal as a consumer.
Your content
You must have the right to upload the ledgers you submit. You keep all rights to them; we use them only to produce your report and attestation.
Liability
The service is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any purchase is limited to the amount you paid for it (for subscriptions, the amount paid in the 12 months before the claim). Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms; the version in force at the time of purchase applies to that purchase, and for subscriptions changes apply from the next renewal after we email you about them. Questions: attest@lumnika.com.
